Thus To Tyrants

Saddam is going to hang. The appeals process in Iraq is very different from the process here in the US. If Hussein were put on death row here, he would die in his cell before he exhausted his appeals process. Over there, it takes about two months.

I wonder if a man like Saddam Hussein is capable of remorse or regret. Could he still possibly believe that his actions were justifiable? Could he be that delusional?

This is good news.

Do you think the administration put any pressure on to make sure this happened before the election? Of course not. That would be something only the democrats would do, right Matt?

nmexpat, I believe you have a blog. Can you send me a link? I've seen it before but can't get back to it. Thanks!!

Hi David -- sure thing. It's at rezio.net/dk. I also updated my typekey profile, so you can get there by clicking on the little speech ballon icon below.

Hey nmexpat, Who cares why it happens as long as it happens. That guy is a real piece of crap. just be glad he'll be gone.

Nmexpat,

Are you claiming he was railroaded? If so you people are desperate. Why don't you do fundraiser for his defense to help out with his appeal?

Oh he's rightfully guilty Sly but the timing is good just like the $1 a gallon drop in gas. Hey....where's Usama? Maybe a Tuesday surprise!

I am glad he's gone. And no, I don't think he was railroaded at all. After all, he got a trial, which is far more than his vanquished enemies got.

Like Erik said, it's very suspicious timing. And if this were good news for the democrats, Matt would be crying foul.
