Michael Moore, working on his next piece of propaganda geared towards the ignorant, is pulling yet another inane stunt. While Mikey's in Havana, do you think he'll ask the medical professionals what happens to HIV/AIDS patients in Cuba?
They are sent to concentration camps ("sanitoriums", as the Cuban Ministry of Health calls them).
Good work, Mikey---good work.

I have a friend from Cuba - he moved here when he was a teenager, and hasn't looked back. His father is a doctor, and does well here; in Cuba, however, they were impoverished!
I was surprised when I heard that, but my friend told me that the real money is in the tourism industry, where the real money flows: tips in foreign currency from tourists.
So maybe their health care system is free, but I think they're getting what they paid for. And though I think our own healthcare system is a bit screwy, in a month I start as a programmer for Humana. Don't be evil...
